Social Entrepreneurship Committee

Social Entrepreneurship Committee

“Let's start-up to volunteer-up”

The Committee:

Social entrepreneurship is a concept that has been gaining momentum in recent years on account of its unique approach for finding solutions to a variety of societal and developmental problems.
In the Indian context, social entrepreneurship can be defined as an innovative and sustainable process that encourages citizens to take matters into their own hands and invent ideas and methods of great social value in order to meet the needs of those at the bottom of the socio-economic hierarchy. Today, social enterprises throughout the country serve as valuable tools in bridging developmental gaps, however their scope for growth is limited due to a lack of funding, skilled man force, structure, etc.

The Enterprise

Community code was formed to bridge the gap between NGOs and the delegates aspiring to work towards change. Every year, the Community Code team takes on issues of social importance and helps towards creating a better tomorrow by working on the problems, providing solutions, connecting people who can help towards the greater cause. Being resolute, resilient and relentless in its journey of touching as many lives, giving hope that there’s a sunny side out there, bringing about positivity is what Community Code aims for. The community code without a doubt strives to create an impact that matters.
